    car turns over great but wount fire up

    hi all, just restarted work on my williams after quite a few years, problem i have is the engine will turn over fine but wount fire up, could this be an imobiliser problem as i could not see any of the lights flashing in fact dont think i seen any on, central locking was clicking when pressing the fob buttons , thanks

    Also a classic symptom of the crank sensor being knackered so I'd suggest getting a new one of those 1st

    And open up the ECU and check for scorch marks...going forward also pop the spark plugs and see if it is obvious due to the smell of petrol that it's getting fuel, and put the spark plug near an exposed part of the engine or body and check for spark.
