Oil Leaky

Wonder if anyone can help with this - no work done to engine to cause this, so wondering if its a misery fix or anyone had before ?
oil leak on the alternator side, low down I’d say - managed to lose about 3 litres on a 150mile run today - oil temp not to high, oil pressure ok, engine temp fine just losing oil from somewhere on that side I’d say, before a clean up and closer look tomorrow -

Otherwise all was good.

There's all sorts of gaskets & seals on that side of the engine that can fail with age & cause such a big leak, you need to work out if it's coming from the cylinder head or the block 1st to narrow down what it could be
