    F7R 700 preparation.

Hi guys I've rebuilt my engine with the following components, whats results should I expect?

    F7R 700 block (std)

Std piston with new piston rings (Goetze)

    Megane F7R 710 rods

    ARP rod bolts

    ACL Race rod bearings

    Kolbenschmidt crank bearings

    New oil pump bearing

New oil pump with Group n spring

F9Q crank fully balanced with flywheel (adapted)

    pic upload

    Flywheel (less 1kg)

Cylinder Head ported and polished, new exhaust valves and valve guides.

Head port natched with gasket and exhaust opened to 40mm

    Intake manifold port gasket also.

Megane cup exhaust manifold 4-1 with 60mm internal exhaust line.

    Megane cup vs Ktec

    Primaries difference:

    Megane cup

    Ktec

    Catcams 5502225.

With this, what result should I expect in therms of HP?

    Hi there,

where did you get the work done on the head? how much?
I would say 170/180 BHP with a good live mapping.

    cheers

I'd agree with the lower to middle of that figure with those cams, 185bhp is what you'd expect to see with bigger inlet valves & more aggressive cams like catcams 213's or Piper 285's

    I did the porting myself.

Lets hope I didn't opened it too much.

The exhaust ports passed from 33mm to 40mm.

    Paddy no vernier pulleys...

    Standard ones...
