    Lad and Dad road trip

Slightly off topic here as no Williams involvement - but still Renault.
Did a road trip to Wales yesterday with my Dad, me in the 172 Cup and my Dad in his immaculate Carlton GSi 3000.

Some fantastic well surfaced roads in Wales, great early morning when the roads were quiet, not as good once all the meandering morons came out.
Got over to Bala and Blaenau Ffestiniog, did a great loop, my new front suspension is definitely bedded in now 😉

You need a road trip to Wales Ian. If you time it right, you get epic roads with light traffic and the Welsh police dont seem to be anything like as anti car/bike as they used to be.

Cheers Coops, My Dads GSi is really a lovely bit of kit, its a totally original car, 68k on the clock and having been rustproofed since it was 3 years old its in rot free condition. Although it gets used regularly, its never out in winter! I reckon that it would do really well in a concours event.
There are very few of these left in the UK now, there certainly wont be many in this condition.
