Free bespoke stainless steel exhaust

I bought this in December 2014 and haven't driven too much since. Maybe 3k miles absolute max.

It was made by RTec in St Albans who are pretty good. They persuaded me to fit a 'sports' cat to it which they said was so much better than £50 crap cats. They may be right.

Anyway it failed its MOT less than a year later on emissions, so I put a cheap cat, from crapcats.com I'm sure, on it, and it passed. BUT, it was a different length and the exhaust made horrible noises, so I took it back to RTec and they 'fixed it'. By which I think they lengthened the crap cat.

This year it failed AGAIN. I feel unlucky with the exhaust, so I bought a Renault one and another crap cat, and I much prefer the standard sound and as a result have a bunch of old stainless steel in my lockup in Stevenage.

SO. If you need an exhaust and don't want to buy a cheap and tinny Renault one that costs a fortune, and either have the ability or a mate who can bodge dodgy cats to fit funny exhausts, OR know a friendly MOT station who don't care, AND you can get to Stevenage at a time that suits me, then this could be a bargain for you.

BUT just because it's free does not mean it's necessarily a bargain.
