    Phil , thank you- i have problems doing up my shoelaces , a resto done by me would be a deathtrap!!
    I do understand the comfort of knowing a job being well done by doing it yourself, a massive benefit i quite agree .

    also if its for a long term investment, they're only going to go up so stick it in a garage for a decade and it'll be worth double what you paid imo

    But life is way too short to not enjoy a car like this.

    Congrats on the purchase! I follow them on facebook and love the progress shots they've posted, certainly looks like it'll be done properly - not sure there's much risk involved considering they're a reputable classic restorer.

    If not included in resto, I would get a reputable installer to fit paint protection film to the full front, roof leading edge, doors and rear arches.
