    Williams Speedline Alloys

    Hi guys,

i'm having my Williams 2 Alloys refurbished. I've looked through threads on here and searched the net, and have found a couple of codes. Can anyone recommend a good online place that does paint?
I went to Halfords to get paint mixed with the proper codes and they had never seen them before!!
Thanks in advance for any responses.

i can quite understand halfords having a meltdown at the codes.. what codes have u found?

wheel paintshops that ive questioned usually stick to one brand/mixing system for their paints.. thats why some paint shops/wheels refurbishers have a harder time getting the close(est) match the numbers dont mean anything by themsleves.. they need to have access to the breakdown of the colours/ingrediants to make say 'R9312' (or what ever it is..)

there is a akzo nobel website.. i dont know if u can buy it via that though or if the average joe bloggs can buy it direct.. there maybe a link somewhere or info on there, its listed under the sikkens autowave product..

get on to the mixit system(https://www.mixitcloud.com/#/setup).

Hey Vandella, I've managed to make an account on mix it and have found the correct colour but there are no options to buy it. Maybe I do have to be a business? 😞 Any ideas how I can get hold of some? I got my hope up then, this paint is like rocking horse shit to find!
    Cheers, Wayne

I had a local alloy wheel specialist do work on my wheels and, as he had to buy a minimum of 1 litre, he gave me what was left over. The attached photo of the label gives full details. It was bought from Industrial Powder & Paint Services : www.ippsltd.co.uk

I couldn't upload the photo in the end, so this is what the label says:
    FXWB123-1040
Renault Williams Gold R9312 Waterbased Basecoat
Spray onto hot wheel between 100c - 50c
    BN:623183
Industrial Powder & Paint Services Limited
Unit 9a Boss Hall Business Park
    Ipswich IP1 5BN
    Tel: 01473 463333

    Hope that helps.

Thanks again, for taking the time to reply. It's much appreciated. I was going to try and source the paint myself and my brother (who's a dab hand at spraying and restoring old cars) is going to do it for me.
    cheers
