    Removing front seats?

Hi Guys, I saw an old post saying you can remove the front seats without removing the sub frames from the body. I have a leather interior in my williams that I'm swapping out to fit my williams seats. If I can do this without having to crawl under the car that would be great?

    Thanks in advance

There are four star-drive bolts that hold the seat to the frame of the rail, where the hinges are that lift the seat up (when someone is getting in the back). Have a look with a light and you'll see - Be careful of the driver seat though, there are two springs for the height adjustment mechanism so it's easier to remove the bolts when the seat is at the uppermost position (or lowermost? Whichever position where the spring is under least tension.)

Tbh it's much easier & quicker to just get underneath the car & do it all in 1 go instead of fiddling about from inside the car

Do you need to remove anything else from the underside to gain access?

There's holes cut out of the exhaust heatshield that lets you access the 13mm nuts, you just need an extension long enough to reach past the exhaust
