Terraclean - anyone used this?

not sure if this should be in here or mechanical but, just wondering on thoughts and opinions on/with 'Terraclean' as a product/service/good idea

I had it done a few years ago as a friend of mine was doing it on boats. As much as I'd like to say it made a difference i'm not too sure! Placebo effect I think!

well the reason I ask is the cars now 21/22 years old and is about to cross the 150k miles mark.. as far as im aware the engine has never been rebuilt so im wondering if it'd help..(I do plan on a rebuild at somepoint) but have read that this can clean carbon made seal around the valves etc and then could lead to issues after.. not sure whether to try it for the money and then see how it goes.. the cars a daily so if this makes things worse/opens issues then im going to be pissed.. I guess its just a cheap skate way of trying to improve a well used engine..
