    Chipex

Anyone used this? Comes highly recommended to me by a prestige valeter, says it's great.

Dunno what colour is correct though, if you type in 449 you get three Clios to choose from.

What Clios does it give you?

I use this at work very frequently, it's a great product!! As long as you get the right colour ;)

I just took a quick look, if you select the first model "Clio" option and then select Bleu Sport (449), that should be the correct one

I've used this with 'nose rash' and sundry bits I then got done later with other bodywork. I never fail to cock up using this kind of product, yet it looks okay and it's protected my bonnet enough for me to put that job on definite 'mid priority'. (ie it will probably never get done)

I don't remember it being hard to get 449, and it matches very well. I took some before/after pics but as I remember they don't particularly show it up well.

    Any ideas which one?

I'm sure Chipex must be good, saw a video of them applying it to a Ferrari 196S!

The little bottle has got 'renault 449' written on the bottom of it in pen... I'm sure they are all different ways to get through to the same thing. If you let them know you have a Williams and the year when you order I'm sure you'll get the right one. I'm sure they're all the same.

I'd LOVE to see a 1975 R12 in 449 next to a Williams - I think this one is a different blue, but at that age, who can tell...

I'd be wary of that list as they stopped using 449 in 1995 & was 432 from 96 onwards
