    what battery have you got in now?

    It's the same battery that's been in it since I bought the car, a halfords one that looks too small for the tray. There's about of space an inch either side of the battery. It hasn't put a foot wrong until now though so I couldn't be bothered to change it.

    What battery would you advise, if I do change mine?

    The small battery should be correct for the car. It should sit flush to the black spacer fitted to the front part of the battery tray nearest the headlight.

    I can highly recommend Bosch batteries if you have a costco near you.
