    Williams Clio 1 Running Problem

Hello to anyone who knows about this so please read on.

My Original Williams Clio has been restored and it looks the Dogs.

I picked it up today and checked everything and all seems ok.

Now when trying to accelerate at speed on the car would erratically stutter as though it was losing power and would come back again and it did not matter if it was at 40, 45, or 50 mph it stutters and causing the car to shake due to this fluctuation of engine power an d difficult to get to 60 mph or more without it getting worse.

I'm sure out there some one knows exactly what the problem is and would welcome an answer.

    Michael

I've has this problem twice before on different cars. Both times it was the rotor arm, either worn or with crud on the tip. A nice easy fix. Both cars ran a treat afterwards....

Several possibles, all easy. As above, dizzy rotor arm etc.

Check spark plugs for contamination, replace or clean would be my first port of call.
