    No sounds just doesn't feel as sharp as it should do
    My Williams 3 is much sharper

    Clutch pedal may be a cable issue

    The wayward steering COULD BE a worn rubber bush in the column, had to do this fix on both my Williams... the problem is as much age related as mileage.

    Solution is to replace the column or adopt the poverty fix which is to weld it up.

    Just wondering about the colour of the boot strip it looks to have faded to a grey colour or was it always grey?

    The boot strips are well known to fade, mine is the same. Originally when new they are a very dark grey/black, like the scuttle panel under the windscreen. These fade bad to but your looks fine from the pics. Search on the forum, various people have refurbished them.
