genuine if you can still get them.. remember seeing a post where genuine ones were discontinued.. but worth an ask nonetheless!

Yes discontinued now, well according to my local RD. Northy I'm not sure tbh, I had a call from mot man saying mine had seized and is held on behind pedal with a cable tie, so it needs replacing. I thought it was a one piece thing? Take it I'm wrong?

You can buy the clip part for the pedal on ebay - which comes in a aftermarket kit.

if the cable has seized it is normally due to the heat from the exhaust manifold

I've got the kit above off eBay which means I now have the clip, but what are my options for the cable itself? Discontinued at reno now so it's a pattern part only. Has anyone bought a replacement from a parts outlet that has been a good fit? I read alot on the forum, but never recall a post regarding the throttle cable and what the deal is with them.

I had an aftermarket one fitted and it just about fitted. Their isn't a proper clip to hold it to the throttle (in the engine) so it threads though and is bolted to stop it coming back through.

Yeah spotted that mate, the left hand drive issue ended all interest though tbh

Hi think iv got a genuine one, got clutch and accelertor from renault years ago as spares ill check but it wont be till friday as im working away
