Clio WIlliams 1 - for sale

Due to an imminent move to Dubai, I'm reluctantly selling my beloved '93 Clio Williams 1. (It's a LHD car on dutch plates)

I own the car since 2012, I drove it for a year in The Netherlands while I lived there.
I brought the car to the UK when I relocated for professional reasons. (I just couldn't part with it)

It has spent the last two years in storage in London, UK.

It's a high mileage car at 258.000KM, but always had everything it needed, being accompanied with a comprehensive service history.

The car benefits from a brand new windscreen and was serviced before being put into storage:
spark plugs, rocker cover gasket, engine oil+filter changed and an engine compression test was performed.
I have the results and the garage can be phoned if you feel the need. They are a Renault specialist in Sidcup.

While in storage, I renewed all the braking system, so the car benefits from Brand New brakes all around. (Brembo discs and Ferodo DS2500 brake pads)
The front brake setup is from a Clio 172, which greatly improves the braking performance. The original setup is also included in the sale.


I had plans to build a perfect Clio Williams, so the car will come with the following Brand New Original Renault parts:

- New Cambelt kit
- New Alterator belt kit
- New power assisted steering pump + high pressure hose
- New Power assisted steering rack repair kit (seals/rubbers)
- New Water pump + gasket
- 2 x handbrake cables
- New Collant bottle + 5L Renault fluid
- New Oil filter + OIL
- 2 brand new Toyo Proxes T1-R 195/45 R15
- Brand New Battery
- Original Clio Williams 1 Stereo
- New Spark Plug Cover
- New Rear Lights
- New front grill + the trim under the headlights


I had the left sill professionally repaired to remove traces of rust (repairer: Finishlineukltd.co.uk)

Bad bits:

One rear arch will need attention.
Drivers door has rust on the underside and will need replacing. As well as the tailgate, which has corrosion on the usual places.

If the car sells in a couple of days, I will add to the sale a rust-free Renault Clio 1.2 3-door that I was planning to use as a donor car for doors and tailgate. The donor car is complete, in great shape and even has an MOT!! (this car is also being sold separately and will only be added to this sale if the Williams sells first).
