Am I right in thinking my thermostat is jammed open???

Temp gauge barely moving heaters only slightly warm after lengthly journey

Replaced thermostat and sorted prob for about 10hrs now have same prob again

I'd be thinking more along the lines of blocked up or knackered heater matrix if you've already fitted a new thermostat

As above. Looking at my original heater matrix, the inlet/outlet pipes were more than 50% blocked. It won't do engine temp regulation, thermostat operation any good with all that sludge flowing round.

It just been all put together from rebuild I don't understand lol

Was an old thermostat I tested before repair seemed operational in hot water
