    Rusted bolt removal tip

    I'm sure that most people on this forum are pretty good at removing rusted nuts and bolts. However I bought some bolt removal sockets at the start of my resto and they have got me out of so many holes, its untrue.
    So I thought that I would share the knowlege on the forum as this may help others.
    I have posted images below of the Irwin sockets and they so far have been 100% successful at removing rusted and chewed up bolt heads that I would have been struggling to remove without grinding them off.
    One of the best bits of kit that I have bought in a long time, from Amazon BTW;

    I will be looking for one of these to remove the sump plug on the daily. And yes I overtightened it myself.
    Thanks Phil.

    I may as well throw this link in I discovered today. Its for working with brake lines in case anyone gets stuck.
