    My Hybrid Track Car

The time has come to sell up and move onto better....and faster things, spec if as below:

The car was FULLY rebuilt approx 7 years ago, eveything was replaced with new, ball joints, bushes etc etc. It was then driven every day for a year or so, covering 10-20K miles per year, then i bought a house and had a family, and she has sat in the garage ever since, coming out to play a handful of times a year

Black valver shell with 2.0 F7R engine and gearbox

    Engine:

    ITG panel filter
    Dynamically balanced crank and flywheel
    Lightened flywheel
    Gunner chip ECU
    Supersprint manifold (heat wrapped)
    De-cat
Straight through centre section with scorpion backbox
Braided fuel lines, running through the car

    Suspension:
Avo adjustable coilovers, factory rebuilt with new springs when car was rebuilt
New (7 years ago) adjustable avo rear shocks
    Williams widetrack
Running Valver shocks with williams widetrack.....giving extra camber....so sticks like sh*t in the corners
    Poly race suspension bushes
Stitch welded Williams subframe.....also comes with a spare stitch welded Williams subframe

    Steering:
    Manual steering conversion

    Brakes:

    Standard rear discs and calipers
300mm 4 pots at the front
Braided brake lines throughout....braided lines run through the car
    In-car rear brake bias valve

    Exterior:
Fibreglass bonnet, held on with bonnet pins
Front bumper held on with bonnet pins
    Polycarb rear windows
    Rear wiper removed
OZ Superleggra 15" wheels, refurbed in satin black
Virtually brand new Toyo Proxies on front, and virtually brand new Goodyear Eagle F1's on rear

    Interior:
    Manual front windows
Pedal extensions, to aid heel and toeing
Corbeau wrap around driver's bucket seat c/w new 6 point harnesses
Ex-cup racer (with Renault Sport logo) passenger seat, with oldish 6 point harnesses
Interior and engine bay spray painted white with all sound deadening removed
    Swede Steering wheel
Short shift kit (haven't got around to fitting)

    -------------

    Bad bits:
Like all clios the rust is starting, there is a patch on the o/s rear arch, and a spot by the o/s front door, this rust was there when i got it about 10 years ago, abd due to the car being garaged is still roughly the same size as when i got the car
There are odd little spots popping up inside, but nothing a wire brush and a repaint wouldn't sort
Sunroof leaks....like 95% of them, but not badly.....have a breathable cover that i will throw in with the car.
Due to age alone the cambelt is getting due to be replaced.

Car is on 80,000 miles and has been meticulously looked after, services every 6k, and no expense spared on the mods, the only thing that lets it down is the patches of rust starting to appear.

Asking for offers in the region of £2200, but anything considered.

Based in the midlands, in Leamington Spa

    Pictures to follow

    Is that the polite version?

What are parts selling like, don't want to strip it and then end up giving parts away

Have you got any pics to put up? After many years away from Mk1's I am suddenly having an urge to get back involved.

No worries! I live in Leamington so would have popped over as well! Fancy putting a few pics up anyway, would be interested to see how it looked.
