They drill out okay but I tend to grind them down with a dremel and they then pop off using a flat head screwdriver or something similar. I used to use a proper spot weld cutter but they only lasted for about 5 spot welds lol.

My front and rear inner wings arrived yesterday

Had to spray some red oxide on the rear inners as they didn't have any protective coating on

All I've managed to do is mark up the existing rear inner arch ready for cutting

Will hopefully be getting some sheet metal in the next few days so I can fab up a floor and inner sills. Then it's time to crack on with the rest

After a lot of thinking and debating I've decided I'm throwing the towel in, it's a heartbreaking decision for me but it's my final decision. RIP TOA

That's a shame. You've just spent a lot of money on parts too

With your skills you should be making money for yourself.
MK1's are endless money pits and there is no decent return for one in sight.

I've changed my mind guys. I'm carrying on. This time I'm going to make sure I'm well planned out, that was my problem before, getting half way into one bit, not been able to finish it properly to starting on another bit. Going to order some sheet metal, new air hose and create myself a rota! Lol
