Nice purchase and a little bit of tlc and you have a very nice car, you might get away with a laquer coat if you take it to a good paint shop, I went to £1850 and thought I was in for a steal all afternoon!! Good luck and congratulations..

Crossers bought it then ? It wouldn't take much to get it looking ok, a second hand bonnet, blacken all the plastics and a really good clean for now. and the clutch is the expensive bit if you can't do it yourself. Prob one wheel bearing is worse than the other if that's what the noise is and get the arch done as and when.
    Good result I reckon

The pics on ebay are terrible, they really don't do it justice.

The rest of the car is immaculate and free from rot (prob jinxed myself!). Its the UV from all the sun southern dwellers enjoy that has destroyed the lacquer on the bonnet and top of the drivers door, everywhere else is fine! It'll be having all that dry weather for 20yrs that's saved it from the rot. The car will be getting resprayed.

One owner (now two) from new, with the original 1994 purchase agreement from Renault poplar, original plates, full history + bills, there can't be many of those about now!

£200 parts plus a day of my time and it should be fit to drive again.

    Then the restoration can begin

P.S - Sorry to pip you to the post with 7 seconds to go

    Paul

360 is now safely parked up at its new Northern home after spending the first 20 years of its life in Horsham.

Despite the obvious flaws I've not discovered any major problems yet. The history file is complete, stamped service book (mostly Renault, all bills & MOTs, the original sales agreement and invoice (£13,500 in 1994) & pre delivery check sheet.

I'll post some pics of it in it's current state.

Well done on your purchase. I'm the second owner on my 1 too. Happy days. Are you starting the project straight away?

The bonnet needs some slight adjustment, but I'd had enough!
