    Flat Battery

Hi lads, do you guys charge the battery in situ or do you have to remove it? Seems to be split opinions on this reading online.

If I'm using a smart battery charger, such as one from Ctek, then I tend to leave the battery on the car. However, if I was using a more aggressive charger, which does't monitor the status of the battery as it's charging, then I would most likely take the battery off the car to do this (feels like it's safer for the car electrics to do this, but I don't know if there's any science behind it or whether it's just me being paranoid )
