    Williams 2, 63k miles

    Hi guys,

My Williams 2 is sadly up for sale on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=231229713471

If it doesn't reach the reserve price on there, I'll put a proper advert on here after the auction ends but here is the text of the auction (pics are on the link):

For sale is my 1995 Renault Clio Williams 2. It has only 63k miles on the clock, which increases daily, as this is my main car. MOT till May 2015, tax till June 2014.

    Brief history:

    1995 - 1998: used regularly - total mileage 32k
    1998 - 2003: used as a static audio demonstrator - total mileage 32k
    2003 - 2004: used regularly - total mileage 37k
    2004 - 2012: in storage
    2012 - present: used regularly

When I bought the car in 2012, I had a new cambelt fitted and have had various tyres and other parts replaced during the time I've owned the car. This has been done simply to increase the life of the car, it has never broken down in the time I've owned it. I had the paintwork professionally restored in 2012 - see photos. All receipts from 2012 onwards can be viewed along with the car - there is no service history prior to 2012 as it's previous owner was a mechanic but the condition of the car speaks for itself.

The only modifications to the car are a Cobra category 1 alarm/immobiliser and the audio system, which comprises upgraded speakers, head unit and 6 cd changer in the boot.

Having just passed it's MOT, the car is in fantastic shape. It is not in showroom condition, as it has a few stone chips and could do with the wheels refurbing to be perfect but apart from that, all is well. The wheels are good enough for me as a daily driver (see pics) so I guess it depends on what you want from the car.

I'm selling the car as I've had 2 Clio Williams' in total, I'm now a father and I need to get something more practical and economical. I've put what I think is a fair reserve on the car - if it doesn't reach it, then I'll consider what to do at that point, based on the viewings the car has had and the price it has reached.

Any questions, please ask. If you'd like to view, give me a ring on the number on the eBay ad, I'm based near Doncaster. If you bid, you are bidding to buy, not to view.
