Williams VS 306 Rallye

I think this will be too close to call. I had a 306 S16 before the Williams, and the willy isn't that much quicker TBH and the 306 'only' had 155 BHP, handling is a different matter but if he's after a drag race then he might have the edge. As Stromba says get him on the twistys then the best car will win. At the end of the day when EVO test drive cars they don't drag race them - they get them in the welsh mountains and screw the arses out of them as this tests the cars real world performance!

guess only time shall tell on this one. i'd hope to beat it in current spec if i'm honest, but i've never seen one go. I hear that they are not quite as quick as a 172, but without wanting to cause a flame war, I've never had a problem with any 172... even Visceral's 172 got LEFT behind and that was going upto silly speeds...

if it's quicker then fair play, but i'll soon have cams for the rematch... I wont tell him that tho ;)

I drove Rob's Rallye at the last RE day TJ and it felt a bit quicker than then the 172 I drove.

Mind you that might be because the engine revved more freely so seemed to spool up better. I reckon it'd be close.
