    Oil pressure gauge wired wrong?

    Here's a question!

    my oil pressure gauge is doing mad things!

    it will read around 3 bar on Rickover and then go down when the engine revs get higher!

    it should've working the other way. Round.

    can it be wired back to front.

    i have just changed the illumination bulbs and can't see how it can be wired incorrectly this end.
    any ideas peeps?

    Sensor on the engine is shagged as it's not possible to wire it up wrong, there's only 1 wire
