For example focus rs, vxr astras etc, the only recent one that is small enough to be a hot hatch is the twingo rs, and maybe a vxr corsa.
In the same vein, I find it offensive that a mk3 is even called a clio

    I have one of these
a stonking Ford and I think a for sure investment.
northy, I had a Lagos blue evo 2 intergrale and sold it 4 years ago and I regret it every day!
I also have a Racing Puma, very rare and an excellent solid drive. Hopefully a good investment as very underrated as the Williams is.

my cousin has a racing puma.. lovely looking cars, they come close to the same driving pleasure as to the willy & valver hybrid gang.. lots of grip but i wasnt sure about the power delivery from it.. but with a decent set of tryes..its on rails.. throw it in to a corner and not even worry about going straight on into the hedge/tree/wall.. the interior is just so... so.. so Ford.

An Integrale Evo 2 is probably the one I'd most like to own.

As for 'classic' hot hatches, this is over 45 years old now so must pre-date all of the above:
