Thread: Clutch cable

  1. #21
If anyone has any genuine cables available for sale or knows where I might be able to get one I would be very grateful. Mine has snapped so the car is out of action for the time being! So far haven't been able to find any for sale and Renault directly are unable to provide one.

Hi, the part number you get from renault is now not available but it is a new type number with no supersession history, I believe the original part number is 7700829067 and is available.

cheers for that martink.. what i have done is fit the pagid clutch cable until my 7700829067 turns up in a few days..

The pagid one makes the clutch so much lighter.. its slightly thicker cable compared to the one which is now not available.. maybe its cos they kept snapping and were crap that they stopped doing them.. lol

didnt realise how easy a job it was to fit the cable.. wasnt looking forward to it..

Just fit a Pagid one to mine today as well. The changes are now perfect with no crunching or selection issues. The cable that was on there was a brand new pattern part..but absolutely crap; i'll try to find the make via the part number so people don't buy it!
