Wont be any until the Williams has gone off for paint unfortunately, got a mega tight deadline to get the Williams ready to go for paint 2nd week of january & almost zero free time to do it so got to make sacrifices

Good to see work progressing. Would be great to see it again once it's complete

Work has started in earnest & progressing well

Stripped down to a bare-ish car, all glass, trim & rubbers off to help keep the paint job a sensible price

Engine out, stripped bare and organised into boxes, ready to go off for rebuilding

This is the reason it's getting a full rebuild

Got a brand spanking new cylinder head ready to fit but it would be a waste to fit that & not completely refresh the bottom end as well so that's what's happening

Soda blasted, painted then fully rebuilt bottom end ready to go

That's a lot of trouble to go to for a criminally easy oil filter change. Nice!

The demise of photobucket means an update is needed

Complete engine in the boot off to be soda blasted & painted

The result of soda blast & fresh paint along with complete bottom end rebuild. Bores were pretty much immaculate so only required honing & standard size piston rings to be fitted. Same for the crank, new standard size ACL racing main bearings & big end shells along with new thrust washers & oil pump.

    New Valeo water pump

Assembly starts with new head gasket, new locating dowels & new head bolts

Best purchase I've managed to make for this car is a brand new cylinder head Long story how I came to get my hands on that beauty

    Bolted together at last

Current work in progress, which includes waiting for parts to be delivered, is powdercoationg all the bits that attach to the engine

All timed up with INA cambelt kit, plastic covers & freshly coated covers fitted
