    Don't need to use a extractor. Its easier with a punch or with whip the disc off and use a pair of mole grips. Saves drilling a hole etc.

    In all of my cases, they were broken off by tyre shop mechanics who were ill equipped to remove the stuck bit. They were tapped out very carefully - if the surface was uneven enough to begin with. Else you might need use something to rough up the surface first. Screw-loosening fluid might also come in handy.

    Got a bolt from Renault today £5.41 and that was trade £6.41 normal.

    Many THANX for all your advice, have sourced part and will change tomorrow, incidentally I was told it would cost £300 to get this fixed by a garage here!! The bolt was £4, me thinks someone is havin a laugh.
