Battery Terminals

Has anyone managed to purchase any of the correct original style battery terminals?

I just bought what were supposed to be the original ones from Renault but unfortunately they are something completely different and were quite pricey when they look the same as what can be picked up at a motor factors for £2!!

my car has had it's battery terminals replaced in the past, I have a receipt to replace damaged terminals back in 2004 on the car but would like to make put the original ones on

Yeah I spoke to Mat, he said the green terminal is part of the wiring loom not a separate terminal as such.

not sure what to do really!

Last person I can think of that managed to get new & correct terminals was Snowman, just trawling through his project thread now

my cars away at present so cant look at it, but from memory can't remember seeing any bodged wiring, I know the negative does connect directly to the front panel. I would really like to put the correct ones on but if the Renault system is showing the correct ones but these came then that's not much use!

Mat told me the green one is part of the wiring loom so I don't think it will be available?

They look like this, the negative 1 just needs the wires clamping in

Thanks for the help fellas, Paddy those part numbers and prices are the same as what I ordered but they arnt the correct part unfortunately!

The negative terminal on that polevolt site looks similar to the original so might try that! Shame they don't do a red positive one!
