    Rear Arch Repair

Is it possible to buy a piece that can be welded in? My arches aren't terrible in condition but one has been repaired before, I could get away with just cutting the rusty sections out and welding a piece of plate in but If a piece can be bought then I think I will cut both out and weld the new in.

http://www.nicedeals.co.uk/product_i...oducts_id=3432 Found these, I don't know if it would be better to mod them to fit just so I can keep the lip on the edge, has anyone else done this?

Hello mate you can use the the normal Clio one and modify as I did but if you taking it somewhere they should be able to cut and weld a plate made by them

I will getting it welded by the garage but even though the arches aren't bad right around the guy said if a replacement is available its a neater Job to fully cut it out and weld the new piece in, much less likely for the rust to come back in another area too as there has been a previous repair.

Yeah I see where you coming from but there are differences with that arch compared to the Williams that need to be modified to look right

I might just buy 2 of these and use them to cut a the area required from keeping the main part of the arch intact for it's shape

The drivers side has gone at the front area of the arch and the passenger side towards the rear bumper mounting area, although the lower sill area is a little weak on the passenger so was going to cut that back aswell to good metal! will see if I have any pics that show the rust!
