    The door bars prove that the Renault quoted figure of 990 for the Williams 2 is wrong. If the Williams 1 weight 990 then the Williams 2 must weigh 1010 kg.

    iirc phase 2 valer weight is 1010kg

    Talk to Mick Cross at Autocross. I have one of his fibreglass bonnets, and it's beautiful. http://www.autocrossltd.com/index.html

    I have got my Cup Racer down to about 850kg without going to carbon panels all round. I suspect c. 800kg is as far as you can go without getting into ridiculous expense.
