Mate good job!!! Where did you get the gauges from? Did you replace the whole panel there? ( all 3 of them)? I assume you got the sensor from a random spare parts store.?

I found so many reasons as to why the gauges did not read properly, so basically I was going round replacing them all.
If by now I didn't fix it I'd replace the oil pump. So glad It didn't come to that.

Just wanted a fully working Williams

    Checked wiring - no improvment
    Flushed engine
    Replace oil sensor - improvment

As u said youve not fitted the new pump - and the oil sensor is £73......group buy i think!

Or just come to the realisation that it's a pointless gimmick & is massively inaccurate and save a few quid

Worn auxiliary oil pump shaft and bearings (2 pieces) may cause pressure drop on the gauge. Aux shaft is still available from Renault (and expensive as hell) but unfortunately the bearings aren't. But a guy still sells them on ebay.
