No new Clio Williams - PHEW!!

It was announced today that the Williams F1 team are ditching Renault power after only two years and using Mercedes power from next year onwards.

So I think we can breathe a sign of relief that Renault won't be wheeling out a new Clio Williams based on a standard car with some stripes like the Gordini...

Renault have admitted that the Gordini name use for the bog standard Clio RS was a marketing mistake.

There'll never be another Clio Williams ever IMO
