    Williams 1 speedline wheel bolts

    Hi

One of my wheel bolts sheared off when undoing it to change a wheel. I decided to replace all 16 with some new ones from Renault, but have noticed that they don't have the rotating collar but are a single piece shaped the same. Are these all that Renault manufacture nowadays? I don't want to damage the gold finish if the bolts with the rotating collars are available to buy. Or if anyone else uses this style bolt on their gold speedlines, can you let me know if it damages the finish.

    Thanks

    Dean

Havnt see The ones with a rotating collar in Ages. They are a better job me thinks.

The ones with the rotating collar are prone to snapping so Renault replaced them with the style you've now got, they're much stronger & better

This. The ones with the rotating collar might as well be made of cheese.

It also explains how so many hubs get stripped, overtightening fooked bolts!
