    :D brilliant game KS - finsihed it on hard - impossible to play on X Box tho- got thru the english and russian levels but the american ones are tuff! and no save options anyone out there likes a good shooter this is the best on PC Buy it!!

    Yeah its great. I loved the atmosphere. The cut scenes are amazing. The start of the Russian missions are a copy of the start of the film 'Enemy at the Gates'.

    You are in a boat crossing the Volga river to aid in breaking the Nazi seige of Stalingrad. You are under Russian military 'escort' and deserters will be shot (and are). As the scene builds, Stukas are dive bombing the boats, the one next to yours gets blown up. Water spalshes all over you.

    As you get to the shore, German MG42 tracers are streaking down a hill towards you. You then realise the gravity of the situation as you are instructed:

    C'ommrads, every second man will take a rifle. When that man falls the next man will pick up the rifle and fight'

    One rifle between two. And a nest of MG42's at the top of a hill. Needless to say its a slaughter. The graphcs and atmosphere are amazing.
