Did a very silly thing at York Raceway this weekend

Got to the start line, waited for the lights to go green, buried my foot on the throttle, lifted the clutch, only to find i had some how slipped into reverse

Needless to say even with the engine running and my helmet on i still heard the laughter from the crowd

So like the title says what a turd i am LOL

Haha, there's nothing worse than a drag strip start gone wrong like that, least once that's happened whats the worst that could happen next time..

At least there was noone behind you to damage! This was one of my greatest worries at the start of a hillclimb or sprint with the next car lined up behind me - if the light ever took more than a few seconds to go green once I was lined up on the starting beam I'd have to go through my whole 'routine' of going back to neutral and 'replacing' it in first just to convince myself it would be right when I gave it the full beans!

The very next car behind me was my missus in her Williams i think a divorce would of been on the cards should i of made contact LOL

Crap Adi best i did was a 15.1, couldnt get any traction on start off, that is with a cammed engine supersprint etc.. our lass did a 15.4 in hers and its standard think i need the cams timing in and some proper tyres

Grip was definately lacking It was too cold and they only put glue down till dinner even the 4wd boys were complaining there times were down
Best I managed was a 13.4 at 113
