    0395 - L821MCJ

Currently working and over 110,000 miles. A little flowery in the corners, but corners well.

Currently on Ebay with the following description. The pictures that follow are all the ones I took including all wheels.

"Renault Clio William series 1 number 0395 with much recent bodywork and engine work, £5k bill from marque specialist Mark Fish Autosport.
I’ve had this car for six and a half years. It was a bit crusty when I got it (the vast majority are) but I’ve been working on it and it’s now at a stage where I’ve so much effort and money invested in it I’m scared to use it properly. These cars are such fun to drive, on B roads, in the snow (it will go anywhere) or a long journey. I bought it because I had a bad back and it consistently turned up when googling ‘most comfortable car seat ever’. They were right, it’s very comfortable and controlled unlike so many modern sports cars with their twitchy handling that brings every tiny pebble juddering into your spinal cord.

It’s got a high mileage, but it’s been looked after well. At the end of 2014 I had a lot of bodywork done and then had some trouble with emission tests, which ultimately led me to take the car to Mark Fish (Clio specialist of decades standing) who took the engine out, repaired the subframe, front chassis legs and engine bay, and replaced the clutch, timing belt, all engine oil seals, traced an idling issue refreshed the front suspension and front brakes, and £5k later the cat was playing up and the heater matrix was clogged. (Cats and matrices are nightmares on these cars.)

So I got a new cat installed by a cat specialist and a new matrix (dashboard out job, the second time I’ve now done this), and, and, the door bottoms looked scabby.

Another bodywork session later (boot, doors, rear arches) the car sailed through an MOT (I’d put a standard Renault exhaust on early 2017), but I’ve fallen out of love with it.

Original suit parcel shelf. Period Philips Renault cassette player (not OEM) which has a 3.5mm input for phones etc.
The service book is very amusing, and I think there are only two MOTs missing.

So there you have it, no concours trailer queen, an honest, hard working, great driving ready to go Clio Williams limited edition. Please contact me through Ebay with any questions or if you want to come and view it. The car is in Hitchin Hertfordshire. Current MOT expires 11th April 2019.

Please do not bid if you cannot pick the car up within 7 days of the end of the auction. I will be going away 17th July and need the car gone by then."

I would say it is from the mileage and plaque number...but don't quote me on it lol.

Looks like its had a good detail and a bit to much underseal.
