    How much? Opinions Welcome

How much do people think my Williams should be advertised as, if I should sell it?

    http://williamsclio.co.uk/forum/show...4-0139-L137TBP

    I suppose key bits are:
    Miles 119k
Resprayed a couple of years ago - still mint, no marks etc. This was my concern when buying it, but, is a very good job with no defects. Was an interior out full re-spray.
Car has not seen the wet/rain for about 3 years
    Refurbed wheels
    As new tailgate
    4 new tyres
    stainless steel back box (Powerflow)
    No rust
    Loads of history
Currently declared off the road and sorn
Few new bits on the engine
    About 9 months MoT

Considering the sale, as, in the last 12 months I've only done about 500 miles, of which, 300 miles were the drive from the NW to Aberdeen.

(RS Steering wheel pictured, original now on the car)

What are peoples thoughts? I am thinking around £4k? Be happy to sell it for £3,750.

From a potential buyers point of view I think you are going to run in to the high mileage problem, some people won't want a car with more than 100k miles (this doesn't bother me that much - mine is on 119k).

On the other hand if your car is in the condition it looks like then it looks like a goodun. Get some really good pictures, including the common rust spots to build a bit of confidence.

I think 4k is strong money, maybe a bit over the odds. But of course if there is a buyer near by you looking for a car like yours then they'll pay...

    Just my opinion.

Yeah - it's a fair point about the mileage. However, quite a few of the 1's when coming up for sale are on similar miles & when I bought mine, I made the concious decision to get one with no rust etc, rather than lower miles.

Obviously going to be realistic on the price - but from my looking around, I don't think my price band is over the top? Be interesting to see what others think.

I'll upload more pictures/the usual to demonstrate condition this weekend probably - but, there isn't many blemishes on the car in total!

    Cheers for the comments though.

People saying over 100k is high mileage really pisses me off, for an 18 year old car, average mileage will be well over 200k ffs!

4.5k and don't let go for less than about 4k

    The mileage is not high.

The lack of rust is much more important.

I don't think people mean the car has done high mileage for it's age, just some people tend to shi* themselves when anything is over 100k for some reason. A car can be 17yrs old with 36k like the one on Pistonheads & it still has stuff wrong with it that you would not expect.
Jaine (who never makes any sense).
    I would say £3700 lowest.
