    Buying a Press

I am thinking of buying a press for jobs like wheel bearings and wishbone bushes and some other things.

Anyone done this before for their home garage? It's just I seem to be paying an average of £50 per bearing and it is shit. I can other peoples bearings at my leisure too!

I looked into it some time ago. There were some good ones available on Ebay for not too much money. However, I think in the end I managed to get whatever it was done with a car jack, vice and the bolt, washer and socket methods so didn't get round to getting one in the end and can't recall having needed one since. I'm still tempted though!

That's exactly what I have for doing wheel bearings, bought from that seller. It's bench standing so not as big as it looks. Ideal really
