It's coming on well but I need some direction please...

My long term engine/engine bay detail is coming on pretty well. However, I can't identify where a few of the parts which I initially removed need to be refitted.
    Please can someone help?

Below are a couple of pictures showing how I'm getting on with the rebuild, and further down are 2 pictures of parts that I need to refit. I'd be really grateful if someone could point me as to where they should go.

    That's fecking CLEAN!!!!

The black bracket looks like it goes under the inlet mani?

I ripped mine apart during the week and I had a bracket like that from there.

The black part looks a bit like the part that sits behind drivers main headlight. It usually acts as a guide for the pipes going from the carbon cannister and is bolted on through that hole to the chassis by a 10mm nut joined to a thread that's built into the front chassis rail and points upwards, near where the front of the cam pulley cover sits when engine is in.

Thanks for the kind comments and advice guys.
I'll have look around those areas tomorrow and see if I can make sense of where it goes.

I'm now wondering if the zinc plated piece is part of a guide for the wiring loom...

The black bracket is from the back of the subframe for the lambda wiring.

Could do with a better pic of the zinc one but I think it's a support for the metal power steering pipe, bolts under the inlet manifold on the brace and has a P clip which goes round the pas pipe.

Ahh, that would explain why I couldn't find it on any of the pictures I took at the dismantling stage because I didn't take any of the rear of the subframe.

I'll take a better picture and post it up.

    Thanks

    Thanks guys

Believe me, I've been down a very long road to get it to this stage.
I just hope that the damn thing works when I put it back in!

Some parts have been powder coated while others I've degreased and de-rusted and painted myself. All the parts that were zinc plated to start with have been acid dipped and re-plated. If I get chance later, then I'll update my project thread.

In the meantime, here are another couple of pictures of the smaller zinc plated part.
