F7P or F7R cams, in F7R lump mit ITB

    Hello,
i need advice, with cams i should choose.
I'm runing F7R megane standard lump with F7R megane ported head. Intake is custom ITB 42mm. I wounder with cams put in the head (F7P,or F7R megane) for better gain in the middle range and top end. I dont rev my engine too high usually 6500rpm.

    Regards

I beleive f7r williams cams have more lift and duration so they would be my choice..

    i beleive too.

But i have only F7P cams, and F7R megane cams, with one is better for F7R megane ITB'd engine with reving quite low approx 6500rpm.

I notice that F7R cams have little lower lift, but duration is much greater, it is true ??

How much lift do the Megane ones have?
I measured willy cam and they're 9,9in and 9,2ex iirc

    F7p are 9,2in and 8,...ex

I would just get some Williams F7R cams if you can't get uprated Piper or Catcams etc.

The Williams cams are easy to get hold of.

ITB's will be disappointing without at least mildly upgraded cams. Standard seem a real restriction

Yea, I'd agree. The noise is still fun though but put Piper 285's, Catcam 208 or even 213's in and get timing pulleys as well. Not cheap though.
