Mileage is on 87k now. Just clicked the other day.

It's in very good condition to be fair. Mechanically seems sound.

The rear arches were replaced recently with Renault parts, the photos and invoices are in the file.

Couple of bits of rust showing on the bottom of the doors and a bit around the rear window on the inside.

All original though which is what I wanted.

Oh that's good....hopefully not to much of a prob to get doors and window sorted.

    Cheers Ian

0406 for sale on ebay November 2016

    £6850

1994 Renault Clio 2.016V Williams One
    LimitedEdition Number 406
Genuine89730 Miles with Full Service History
    Must Be Seen

This Renault Clio Williams One is now a very rare car. Please examine the photographs below to see the standard of this car.

It is now for sale at £6850.

The Renault Clio Williams One is now a very rare car as according to the club web site www.williamsclio.co.uk there are only 80 examples left in the UK from the initial UK allocation of 390 RHD numbered cars.

This car will be one of the best of this small number of surviving cars.
It was supplied new in February 1994 by W. D. Semple, the Renault main dealer in Inveraray Scotland, to a local Doctor.

This car bears the limited edition number of 406 as can be seen on the dashboard plaque and the history file contains some very interesting correspondence between this first owner and Renault UK regarding the car.
The doctor kept the car for three years until it was acquired in 1997 by its second owner from Glasgow who again kept it for three years and then on to its third owner in April 2000 who lived in the Borders just south of Edinburgh.

The history file contains DVLA documentation showing these and two subsequent changes of ownership along with previous MOT certificates showing the annual increase in mileage and a fully stamped Service Record Book to verify the genuine 89730 miles now covered.

The file also contains numerous invoices, the original book pack, an original Clio Williams Brochure, documentation for security devices and a series of photographs from December 2008 showing that both of the rear wings have been professionally replaced with new genuine Renault panels.

The current MOT runs until May 2017 and the car comes complete with its original parcel shelf which incorperates a suit carrier on the underside.
The prices of good examples of 1990's classic cars are rising very fast as more people want the cars from their youth that they could not afford when young.
This Clio should turn out to be an excellent investment in the future.

I picked this up on Sunday, has a few issues but will hopefully be booking it in for a service and some other work at Rectec in Edinburgh soon!

This was my old car which I sold back in May.

I hope you enjoy her. Might even have some history from DVLA which arrived after I sold the car.

Also got an outdoor car cover which I had made for it if you're interested.
