newport south wales they have a classic and specialist car show every sept big show 1000 plus cars of all sorts 8000 people paid to get in its for cancer reserch

whats the story of the car then ? who owned / raced it ?

there was a large history on the windscreen , ill try and get it off another photo and post it, what i can remember, it was one of the original cars built for the factory to allow it to be race legal , on the side of it it had jean ragonnti and a name i cant remember it had raced in and had a place finish in several rally s before it was sold the performance figures where staggering for a 1.4 when the owner started to put it on the trailer it was amazing. its owned by a guy in brigend s/wales he,s had it for 26 yrs he also has a couple of very nice renault rally cars which he brings to this show every year 013.JPG014.JPG015.JPG
