    Removing reserve fuel tank.

Has anyone done this? I understand there is a special pipe fitted to the cup cars that allows the removal of the tank?

    Help please?

Any poverty spec mk1 will have the 'direct to main tank' filler pipe, only 16v and williams had auxiliary tanks fitted (although my ph3 RSi has one aswell)

as above, the poverty spec clio neck fits with a bit of persuading, have to pull it tight with the screws at the top end into the arch as not designed for flared arches

pipework was a bit of a bugger iirc too, I chased out the charcoal canister breather and binned off the canister then connected what was left together. this caused the system to pressurise so I cheated and drilled a tiny pilot hole just inside the filler neck behind the cap, so it breathes through there, been fine for 4 years since I did it
