What's about to break

There's a noise that's returned, having not been present for a few months or so.

When everything's cold there's a loud gear noise when you first set off and it happens at slow speed when moving off until everything's warmed up.

It's particularly noisy when turning left. It sounds like that noise you get when you stick your car in reverse.

I'm getting a bit worried something's about to fail. Probably on the sprint day! :(

I think it does totally stop yes. Although maybe it just gets to quiet to notice.

Sounds like it's coming from the gearbox area, which is why I'm worried. The garage changed the oil last time I mentioned it and it's been pretty quiet since. Can't remember whether I also asked them to put some Forte treatment in as well.

this cd be bad news m8!....might started doin that just as the gear box died :( ....

mine made a noise like a flat tire though as well n then got 2 a crunching sound

So does anyone have any other suggestions on this? Could it be the diff. It's definitely still doing it when warm but it's much quieter, and it's only really on left turns.

get it on sum ramps m8, turn the front wheels round and have alisten 2 c where the noise is cumin from thats if theres any noise without the engine running?!.....

Hehe, gearbox noises sound quite normal I thought.

Mine had a noise, but it never gave me the kind of warning I was expecting
