    De-Cat

    just about to put my De-CAT back on after it's MOT and was just wondering if there's a sealant or anything that you should use on the flanges or even a gasket ?!?!

    what does everyone here use ?? if anything atall....

    all i did mate was buy new gaskets and then some exhaust paste

    can get exhaust gaskets from your local quick fit


    it forms a seal when it gets hot not a single leak spot on :P

    Holts firegum, is my reccomendation.

    True it looks like someones spaffed on your zorst joints but does the job ok.

    the bastards at quick fit wouldn't sell me any gaskets so it looks like i'll have to go to Renault and probably get raped into buying a full gasket set. I wouldnt be suprised if you have to buy the full engine gasket set too

    lol, just use your old ones ? and put loads of gum gum on there ;S
    although u will need new ones next time

    but im cheap and just wirebrush down the ends then put loads of gum gum on
