How did you go about doing up your own arches mate?

And how hard of a job is it?, i it summit i could do meself with a few cans of the correct paint and lacquer?

Well took me ages. I sanded off the paint. cut out the rust and filled it. The n sanded it smooth and sprayed it with 449 blue. TBH mine was just a temporary repair to stop the rust spreading. Its coming back a year later in a very small way, but i always had the intention of getting it professionally done.
