    ABS issue

    No rear brake activity

    Brake bias valve is fine.

    suspected abs unit

    anybody had any similar experiences?

    Ive had that and it turned out to be my rear bias valve which was broken.

    so am i right in thinking that (with my limited knowledge) that there should be brake activity regardless of wether the abs
    is working or not. i.e. that if the fuse was taken out then there would be brakes front and rear (depending on wether the bias valve is set right).

    i dont believe the explanation that there is a fault in the abs, which is why there is no rear brake activity.

    all help appreciated !

    The abs only works when it senses a wheel isn't spinning and it will reduce braking effort to that side until it spins again.

    I would recommend a new bias valve
