Stage1
30 Nm + Angle Tighten by 50 deg +/- 4 deg
Then Wait for 5 minutes
Stage2
Loosen all bolts completly
25 Nm + Angle tighten by 108 deg +/- 3 deg
Ignore Autodata its a pain in the ass some times
Its say Megane 1999 F7R onwards from Renault too ? what different on the Megane ?
it didn't use an F7R from 99ish, they'd switched to the IDE and the F4R by then. There's loads of data that's mixed up between the 3 engines. Autodata tells lies
I just use stage 2 on what matts posted that's it, always done me fine on F7 series
it wont be any different for a meggy to a willy F7R I wouldn't of thought and people mix n match the heads/ bottom ends anyway!
sealer??? you mean the material of the gasket itself?
to be fair either way it'll be fine at the standard F7P stage 2 sequence, that's what I used as mentioned on the turbo lump with a none standard gasket and it held fine, it was the block that let go
There is a bead of sealant around the water ways on the gasket, its red on a Willy gasket and green on a Megane.
