Just swap out the tappets. Mine from Ebay years ago were totally fine. I manually primed them with new oil, which was a ballache, and left them ina tub of new oil overnight too before fitting, but then, I am anal.

Just do it yerself if you know about cam timing and have some basic tools...and cam lube.

Hey coops, now knowing youre from around the sutton area, anychance of you one day showing me its not all that hard hahah. My williams is sounding a bit sewing machinish, would love some good advice on how to remedy some of the problems with it. Was also told anything to do with the cambelt is an engine out job.
